About

Hello people.

This is the Blog of Andrew Bisset AKA Reality Check, and here you’ll find the latest news on my music, life and whatnot.

Let me tell you the story of how I got into making music:

It all started in 2009. For fun I made little tracks, beats and such on Garageband using the diverse sample collection. I became greatly addicted and eventually eased out of my love for computer games and instead taking a great interest in music. After a few months I joined a group on Myspace called Paradox with a couple of mates from school. Together we made tracks and uploaded them, but out of the three of us I was the only one who relied solely on samples. Eventually I was pressed into learning the skills of ‘midi’, but by Christmas 2009 paradox had split up. I’d started making drum and bass tunes and moved onto Logic Pro 9. For the next 10 months I honed my skills mainly from lurking on ‘The Grid’ (http://www.dogsonacid.com/) and gaining an extremely large collection of drum and bass which now fills up my music library 99:1 against genres such as Trance, Breaks and Trip-Hop. I produce mainly Drum & Bass but will make pretty much anything I feel like, sometimes getting pretty experimental.

So yeah, that’s me.

Check back from time to time to get an insight into my progress. I am currently working on an album which will be free to download, though I don’t know how long it’ll take as I have GCSE’s to get done left right and centre.
